The Aristocrati are a people specialized to the city life.  Their heritage, which they trace with pride, goes back many generations.  It is said their origins were from the mixing of politicians and librarians in the first cities.  Gracile and pale, they hold education, culture and social status as important.  Most find themselves in positions of authority and management, and are a respected group in the populated areas.  Their legacy of tracking information has produced some of the strongest mayoral figures.

There are dark rumours about in recent centuries, that some of the Aristocrati have turned to the dark arts.  As a whole, they have tended towards style somewhat antiquarian and gothic, perhaps this has lead to the beliefs.  But stories about feeding off the energies of others, sacrifice & predation of other myn to feed evil power still abound.  Large cities have many unexplained events; the chaos of so many interacting lets some get lost in the shadows.
