His form is that of age and complexity where hers is more of innocence and simplicity. It is said when your eyes are drawn to the fractals that form the wrinkles in his face, you can see into them forever in an instant.

Timeline

Gobekli Tepe- first encounter of Earth

At the beginning of their manifestation, the Dual was looking for Shashnia and ended up on Earth. Since there was no magic there at the time, they had to group together and enlist the aid of the local uplifted animal spirits and religious ceremonies of Earthlings. They were very impressed with the reverence that naturalist humans had, and knew that the future of Shashnia and Earth were intrinsically linked. The revisit of powerful Shashnimyn sorcerors to Earth in historical times was an attempt to find the knowledge that the Dual acquired. Gobekli Tepe became a shrine when humanity witnessed the teleportation magic, and wanted to reach the other parts of the universe as well. They buried the shrines when their prayers were answered with a gift. In a fascinating twist, this religious congregation over time gave birth to cropping agriculture and permanent civilizations on Earth. Humans achieved this all on their own, but did so as a side effect of cargo cult like behaviour.

The Founding War - Fragmenting of Essence

In the teleportation to Shashnia, the amount of magic was low and the Dual broke into pieces that were not self-aware of what they were and their interconnectedness. This lead to dramatic and violent conflict as the schizophrenic disagreements between parts escalated.

The Founding Book - Creation of World Citizenship

After the war ended and the resultant factions calmed, the Dual and the Pantheon appeared in re-united form. They brought their former followers together in a conference to discuss the future of the Shashnian people. They facilitated the creation of the World Council and the agreements and plans to make a world citizenship; the founding book.

The Silent Gods

Not wanting to be worshipped or to take away the power of the Shashnimyn to rule themselves, the entire pantheon disappeared, watching over the planet. It spent this time searching the timelines and metaverse space surrounding to seek out the problem and possibilities of why it had come to Shashnia in the first place. In this time, belief in the gods waned somewhat, and other naturalistic faith increased, or incorporated the worhsips started in the Founding War.

The Evolution War happened as a result of disagreements over tenants laid out in the Founding Book, but all pleas for the Pantheon were not answered.

The Demon Siege

Soon after the Demons started arriving, the Pantheon returned and started to mobilize the world for the impending conflict. The Dual appoints the first Jabaymudah, who helps to rally the nations. The Jabaymudah subsequently becomes the representative of the Dual on Shashnia, not a godling, but a demi-god granted much power.

Present Day

The current time zone for the roleplay setting

The Dual and the pantheon are present as advisors, and often appear as strangers to test those who continue to worship them. Their gifts or punishments are rare, and not oft understood. The Dual is most often seen at the world council, listening. Their presence implies that the planet is at a key point in the Timeline, but when questioned, S/He will not go into details, claiming the path is best left undisturbed.

The current and recent Jabaymudahs have functioned less as an emissary of the Dual and more as dimensional travellers, taking some of the strongest sorcerors and warriors around the Universe in a quest against the Demons.

Near Future - second encounter with Earth

Partly a fluke of spacetime, and partly the guidance of the Dual, an expedition to a cave system under Antarctica is sucked through a wormhole onto Shashnia. They travel the world, and discover the differences between our worlds much as Gulliver did. The Dual pays close attention to their travels, and maintains a space out of time where they can communicate freely. The interest of the Pantheon implies that these Humans have a crucial role in the future of the Demon Siege

The humans are eventually revered as godlings, being somewhat immune to magic and able to command respect. Some adopt the world citizenship way of life, others corrupt it.

Far Future - third encounter with Earth

Shashnani'i have spread to the edge of their system and just begun sending STL colony ships to nearby systems. The major planets are Shashnia, Mrikabo, Velusi 3 and Gumar Prime. Colonies exist on Vibenyolo, Nagabe, and Gumar 2 & 3.  Raider colonies and a failed genetic experiment of autonomous space ships also prowl the voids of space.

Once again, the Pantheon has returned to a more silent behaviour. Although comparatively still more active than following the Founding War, they are now spread across planets.

Their future links back to Our past

Shashnimyn once again need the aid of Humanity, and have achieved rudimentary dimensional travel without the aid of the Pantheon. They seek out to find Earth and teleport a group of powerful sorcerors. After many failed missions, a team ends up on Earth, but scattered through time, and in a low magic environment. They take different attitudes towards the historical Earth cultures and are theorized to have had effects on the history of: Mexica (Aztec/Inca), Egypt and Atlantis.
