A period of time after the first peoples expanded across the globe. It lasted for about 1500 years and caused groups to limit themselves to refugia and sustainable areas, seeding the separation of the races.

For the First Peoples, it was an extra crushing blow to the defeat they were trying to handle.  To the Shashnimyn, it was another ecological phase with which the species was still adpated to.  In fact, they flourished as the First Peoples died off and could not use the dwindling resources.  Some of them turned to tribes of Shashnimyn to survive and taught them their language and philosophies.
